The ingredients needed to make Dahi Bhalla Chaat Dahi Vada:
  1. Prepare 200 gm Urad Dal
  2. Prepare 200 ml fresh curd
  3. Take 1 green chilli
  4. Make ready 1 tsp Ginger
  5. Take 2-3 spoon oil
  6. Take 1/2 tsp hing/asafoetida
  7. Prepare 1 tsp powdered sugar
  8. Make ready 4 tsp Coriander mint chutney
  9. Get 4 tsp Tamarind chutney

Instructions to make Dahi Bhalla Chaat Dahi Vada:
  1. Soak 200gm Urad Dal for 4 hours. Add green chilli and ginger piece and blend it in a thick batter. Best batter for 5 mins. It turns fluffy now add salt as per taste
  2. Add little oil in appe pan. Add batter. Cover and cook on low flame for 3 mins. Put little oil on Vadas and flip it to cook from other side. Cover and cook for 2 mins. Take out when Vadas turns golden brown.
  3. Take out when Vadas turns golden brown. Take lukewarm water, add 1/2tsp hing powder and 1/2tsp salt. Soak Vada in it. Cover and keep it for 15mins
  4. Seive out curd and add 1tsp powdered sugar and 1/4tsp salt.
  5. Squeeze out water from Vada and place it in the plate. Top it with curd, coriander mint chutney, tamarind chutney. Sprinkle red chilli powder, jeera powder and chaat masala. Garnish with boondi, sev, pomegranate seeds and coriander leaves. - Ready to serve.
