  1. Take Rice
  2. Get Vegetable oil
  3. Prepare Vegetables (green beans, green pepper, carrots, spring onions)

Steps to make Jollof rice and fresh veggie:
  1. Wash and parboil rice and set aside
  2. Wash and season meat with onions, fresh pepper and seasonings and while it's Cooking, Chop, grate and dice vegetables
  3. Wash, blend and boil fresh tomatoes, pepper and onions till it's less tongue sharp
  4. When all is set, put vegetable oil on medium heat, and add thyme, gives it a nice flavour, add onions, allow to slightly fry and then add the blended boiled paste and fry, then add salt and cubes and a little curry after a few minutes, while this is frying I like to boil water aside so the food cooks faster.
  5. When tomato sauce looks and tastes good bring down from fire, pour rice in a pot, add the paste, add seasonings and meat stock and in this case I added meat along to cook cos I didn't want to fry or grill, add hot water, stir and set on medium heat to cook.
  6. I try not to stir while cooking so it doesn't burn, all to cook till water dries off the top and diced veggies and wen totally dry, stir with a spatula for veggies to mix and bring down.
  7. Serve with cold grated veggie and drink and enjoy meal
