The ingredients needed to make Soya Momos:
  1. Take For Dough
  2. Prepare 1 cup flour
  3. Prepare 1 tsp oil
  4. Take 1 pinch salt
  5. Prepare as needed Water
  6. Prepare For Stuffing
  7. Take 1 cup soya chunks
  8. Make ready 2 tbsp oil
  9. Prepare 1 tsp cumin seeds
  10. Make ready 1 tsp gratted garlic
  11. Take 1 tsp chopped green chilli
  12. Prepare 1 medium sized chopped onion
  13. Get 1 tsp cumin powder
  14. Take 1 tsp red chilli powder
  15. Prepare 1/2 tsp black pepper powder
  16. Get 1 tsp coriander powder
  17. Take 1/2 tsp garam masala powder
  18. Take to taste Salt according
  19. Prepare Handful finely chopped coriander leaves
Instructions to make Soya Momos:
  1. Firstly we make stuffing. For that soaked the soya chunks in boiled water for 20-25 min. After that remove it from the water and squeeze the excess water. Now in a jar add soya chunks and make the crumble.
  2. Now heat a pan add oil wait, now add cumin seeds, garlic, green chilli saute for 1min. Now add onion and saute well.
  3. After that add all the spices and mix well cook it for some time then add soya crumble and salt mix it well.
  4. Now add coriander leaves and mix well your stuffing is ready now keep aside.
  5. Now we make the dough. In a bowl add all ingredients of dough and take water as needed and make a soft dough.
  6. Now making balls of momos dough and rolled out into circles
  7. Place a tablespoon of the prepared filling in the center of each rolled out circle. And give it your favorite momos shape. Here I give it pearl shell shape.
  8. Grease a steamer plate or any other plate (it should easily fit into the steamer or a deep vessel) with oil to prevent them sticking.
  9. Heat 1-2 glass of water in a deep vessel over medium flame. Place stand in the vessel and place momos plate over it. Cover it and steamed it for 8-10 min on medium flame. Your momos is ready. Serve it with momos chutney. Enjoy!
