  2. Get 1 cup semolina
  3. Prepare 1 cup water
  4. Get 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
  5. Make ready 1/2 tsp chat masala
  6. Prepare 1/4 tsp red chilli powder
  7. Make ready 1/4 tsp black pepper powder
  8. Prepare As per taste Salt
  9. Make ready 2 green chillies
  10. Take 1 small carrot grated
  11. Take 1 small capsicum grated
  12. Get 1/4 cup cabbage grated
  13. Prepare as required Coriander leaves chopped
  14. Take as required Oil for shallow fry

Steps to make Leftover dal tikki:
  1. In a wok add one tsp oil heat it add cumin seeds when they splutter add all the veggies. Add all spices and salt as per taste then saute on high heat for 2-3 minutes.
  2. Now turn the flame low add semolina and water mix well all together. Cook 3-4 minutes on medium flame untill the mixture will be combined well and leave the pan. Turn off the flame. Let the mixture cool.
  3. Grease your hands Take some amount of mixture and make medium size balls flat it with your palm to give shape of tikki. Take a pan put some oil heat it and shallow fry the tikkis golden brown on both side on medium flame.
