  2. Now quickly add tomato puree (add green chilli too while making puree) and stir well.add salt and stir. cook until oil comes out on the surface.
  3. Now add boiled chole/chana /chickpeas and mix until well coated with gravy, cook for 3-4 minutes on low to medium heat while stir occasionally.Now add as required water to get desired consistency, mix well. close the lid and just give it a whistle. let the pressure release by itself.
  4. Lastly add kasuri methi, garam masala powder, fresh coriander and squeeze lemon juice and mix.quick and delicious chana masala is ready to serve, serve with puri, rice or with roti.
