Steps to make Akara:
  1. Wash and remove the skin of the beans.
  2. Soak in water for 10mins
  3. Ground beans to desired texture(not too smooth) and with very little water
  4. Cut onions and pepper and add to the beans paste. Add salt. Use a spatula or mortar to stir very well.
  5. Put your oil in a clean fry pan, scoop the akara paste into it and leave about 2cm apart. fry until golden brown on a medium heat. And turn over, pressing with your frying spoon so that it cooks inside too.
