The ingredients needed to make Spinach Fenugreek Dal:
  1. Make ready 1 bundle Spinach
  2. Get 1/2 bundle Fenugreek leaves
  3. Prepare 1/4 cup coriander leaves
  4. Take 100 gm moong dal
  5. Take 3 tomatoes
  6. Get 1 inch ginger
  7. Take 2 green chillies
  8. Get 8-10 garlic clovesfor tempering
  9. Make ready To taste salt and red chilli powder
  10. Prepare 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
  11. Prepare 3 tsp oil
  12. Make ready 2 onions

I use nigella and fenugreek seeds to add the onion-garlic Add the lentils and water and cook until done to preference. Fenugreek leaves are also called Methi leaves or Methi ke Patte in Hindi.
