The ingredients needed to make Kunun Aya da Gyada:
  1. Take 1/2 cup white rice
  2. Get 1/2 cup groundnut
  3. Prepare 1/2 cup tigernut
  4. Make ready 6 pieces pitted dates
  5. Make ready 1 cup powder milk
  6. Take 1 cup sugar
  7. Get 1/2 cup lemon juice
  8. Get Water as require

When using the dry tigernuts, you have to pre-soak it so it'd regain moisture. Kunun Gyada is a drink that is mostly made and taken in the Northern part of Nigeria. Instructions to make Kunun Aya da Gyada:
  1. Wash and transfer all the ingredients into a blender
  2. Blend with 3cups of water into a nice watery paste and sieve through a clean siever right into a clean bowl
  3. This is the sieved milk we are going to use
  4. Pour the sieved milk into a pot,cook on medium heat til it becomes thick(turning consistantly to avoid lumps)
  5. When thick,add milk,sugar and lemon juice,whisk very well to combine
  6. Its done,its abit runny for iftar stomach warmthness or for breakfast……This pap is very white, clean,and tasty😋
