Instructions to make Rava pathiri:
  1. Heat a Kasai and add 1 table spoon of ghee or oil to it.
  2. When it heats up add the water. Add salt and let it start boiling.
  3. Once boiled add the rava, and cook well.
  4. Once cooked switch off the gas and let it sit for 3 to 4 minutes closed with a lid for setting.
  5. Knead the dough until it turns soft and non-sticky. approximately 7 to 8 minutes of kneading is required. You can wet Your hands in between with water or oil to avoid stickiness.
  6. Knead the dough again and pinch a lemon sized dough and roll uniformly.
  7. Dust these balls one by one and flattened it into round shaped
  8. Dust with wheat flour and roll thinly.
  9. For getting perfect round shape you can use a cutter or press it with a sharp lid.
  10. Place the rolled disk on hot tawa. make sure the flame is on medium.
  11. Cook each ones on medium heat. Wiping oil on top of each pathri while cooking makes it more tasty
