The ingredients needed to make Veggie Upma:
  1. Get 1 cup suji
  2. Take 1 tsp urad dal
  3. Get 1/2 tbsp rai
  4. Prepare As per taste Salt taste
  5. Get As per taste Red chilli powder as per taste
  6. Make ready 1/2 tbsp sambhar masala
  7. Make ready 4 cups water
  8. Make ready 5-6 curry leaf
  9. Prepare 2 tbsp oil
  10. Make ready 1 sliced onion
  11. Make ready 1 chopped tomato
  12. Prepare 1 orange carrot chopped
  13. Take 1 small chopped capsicum

In this recipe, I have combined. Garnish the Veggie Upma with some coriander leaves and you can serve this with sambhar or can enjoy as it is. Steps to make Veggie Upma:
  1. In a pan saute suji for 4-5 minutes as aroma starts coming and suji turns golden brown. Now take it out in a plate.
  2. Now in pan add 2 tbps cooking oil and add curry leaf,Rai,urad dal and saute for 1 min. Now add chopped carrot and saute for one minute.Now add sliced onion and saute it untill it turns golden brown.
  3. Now add capsicum and tomato,salt, red chilli powder and sambhar masala.saute for 3-4 minutes.
  4. Now add that sauted suji in this mixture with 4cup water and cook untill water is completely soaked
  5. Now upma is ready and garnish with any nuts and coriander.
