The ingredients needed to make Sesame toasts:
  1. Make ready 1 tspn minced garlic
  2. Take 1 egg
  3. Make ready 1 cup spring onion
  4. Prepare 1/2 pepper powder
  5. Take 1/2 tbsp conflour
  6. Get 1-2 sesame seed
  7. Take Salt
  8. Take Oil
  9. Get 4-6 slice bread
  10. Make ready 1/2 cup soya sauce

Crispy prawn toast is infinitely better when it's homemade. Top slices of bread with a simple whizzed. Brush one side of each piece of bread with sesame oil. Spread the prawn mixture on top, taking it right to the edges of the bread.

Steps to make Sesame toasts:
  1. Combine egg white, minced garlic, chopped spring onion, pepper powder, soya sauce, cornflour and salt. Blend this in a food processor till it becomes a paste.
  2. Cut each slice of bread into 4 triangles. Spread the paste on 1 side of the bread & try & press down as much as possible.
  3. Sprinkle on sesame seeds on top of the paste.
  4. Heat oil in a deep and wide pan, till hot but not smoking, place your toasts (paste side down) into the oil & fry for approx 30-50 seconds

Brush one side of each piece of bread with sesame oil. Spread the prawn mixture on top, taking it right to the edges of the bread. Toasted sesame oil is made from pressed sesame seeds that have been slow roasted to bring out their toasty, clean flavor. It'll darken slightly and smell of fresh sesame seeds as it toasts. This sesame toast makes for a nice breakfast or snack option.
