  1. Mix all the listed cake ingredients in a bowl.
  2. Grease yor baking pan with butter and pour in the batter and bake until golden brown.
  3. Cut in to squares while its still inside the pan.
  4. Pour in the sugar syrup on to it and allow to cool down a bit.
