  1. Make ready 3-4 Riped Mangoes

Instructions to make Mango Jam:
  1. Take the pulp of the riped mangoes and grind them to a smooth pulp.
  2. Add the pulp to a thick bottomed pan/ kadhai. Add sugar according to the sweetness of the mangoes.
  3. Keep the heat on a medium flame and keep stirring the mixture.
  4. Add Citric Acid/ lemon juice which acts as a souring agent and avoids crystalization of the sugar.
  5. Keep stirring the mixture until the jam thickens and starts to leave the sides. You can check the consistency by into a frozen plate or frozen spoon, the jam should set and not drip on the frozen plate or spoon.
  6. Switch off the stove (remove from the heat even if it's 90% done, as it sets gradually as it cools down)
  7. Once the jam cools down, store it in a air tight container.Can be stored in fridge for months. Remember to use clean dry spoon everytime.
