The ingredients needed to make Goan Neureos:
  1. Get Filling
  2. Prepare 1/2 cup moong dal
  3. Get 1 cup powdered sugar

  6. Take 1 tsp butter
  7. Make ready 1 tbsp chopped cashews
  8. Take 1 tbsp raisins
  9. Prepare Dough for neuroes
  10. Get 1 cup all purpose flour
  11. Prepare 1 tbsp butter
  12. Prepare 1/4 tsp salt
Instructions to make Goan Neureos:
  1. In a big bowl mix all the ingredients for the dough first till it is crumbly.. then add little water and make a soft dough.. cover and keep aside for 15 mins
  2. Filling: dry roast moong dal in a pan till it's golden grind to a fine powder.
  3. In the same pan dry roast sesame seeds and keep aside.
  4. In the same pan add butter and roast dessicated coconut till ots golden
  5. In a bowl mix all the ingredients for the filling along with the dry fruits and powdered sugar.. mix well
  6. Knead the dough once again. Then take a small size ball of the dough and roll out to make a puri size roti, then add 2 tbsp filling in the centre… then apply water on the side to seal the ends to make a semicircle neureos. Make designs as shown in pic
  7. Deep fry neureos on medium high flame…till it's crispy and golden… serve hot or u can also store this in an airtight container.
