  10. Heat up oil. Test the oil for appropriate temperature by placing a piece of the dough in the heated oil. If the oil is too hot, the cut dough will rise to the surface quickly. If not hot enough, it will sink to the bottom. It should rise to the surface gradually
  11. Fry
  12. Transfer to a flat surface lined with paper towel/tissue to soak up the oil. Allow to cool before storing
