  2. Get 1 milk cup of beans

I'll try this recipe for sure. Jollof rice is a very common dish prepared in many African countries and each recipe differs depending on the nation. Steps to make Jollof rice and beans:
  1. Prepare beans and put in a pressure pot and place on fire to cook, in a another pot, put water on heat and allow to boil then add rice to par boil
  2. Place a pot on heat ensure there's no water in it then add palm oil; when it's hot add sliced onions and the blended onion and pepper paste then sachet tomatoes and allow to fry.
  3. Wash the beans and rice in different sieves. Wash and blend onions & pepper (quantity as desired) slice half a ball of onions.
  4. Add water (use the softness of the rice to determine the quantity of water to add) and salt, Knorr cubes, curry & thyme. Cover the pot and allow it to boil.
  5. Add beans first and allow for about 10mins then add rice, check taste for salt & seasoning then cover pot and allow to cook. (keep heat on average to avoid burning)
  6. When there's no more water, turn off heat and serve with any protein & drink of choice. I used already fried pepper chicken and water. Enjoy!
