  1. Get 1.7 kg potatoes
  2. Get 200 g breadcrumbs (400g if doing two coats)
  3. Make ready 100 g all-purpose flour
  4. Get 80 g butter
  5. Take 2 eggs (4 for two coats)
  6. Take 3 tablespoons finely chopped dhania
  7. Prepare 1 tablespoon salt
  8. Make ready 1 tablespoon milk
  9. Get 1 1/2 teaspoon minced garlic
  10. Take 1 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

  2. Remove the potatoes from the fridge. Beat the eggs and add the 1 tablespoon of milk. Assemble the rest of ingredients starting with flour, beaten eggs and then bread crumbs.
  3. Scoop two tablespoons of the mashed potatoes and form into a ball. Toss it lightly in the flour, roll it in the eggs and then coat it completely with breadcrumbs. I did one coat of breadcrumbs but you can do two coats. For a second coat, roll the coated potato in the eggs and coat it with breadcrumbs again.
  4. Place it on a lightly floured surface or one dusted with breadcrumbs and continue forming the balls!
  5. Heat the oil and fry the potato balls over medium heat until golden brown. This takes about 2 minutes. Toss it gently so as not to break the crumb-coat. Once browned remove and place on a paper towel for them to drain excess oil and continue frying the rest.
  6. Arrange your balls well on a tray and garnish with chopped dhania or green onions.
  7. Serve and enjoy!
