  1. Prepare Cob corn
  2. Get African pear

The snack in the picture above is roasted corn and nigerian pears. In my native language it's called ube (pear) na-oka (corn). This is one of my favorite things to eat off roadside kiosks. African pear or bush pear is a native fruit of the West African mainly found in southeast Nigeria popularly called Ube.

  1. Remove back of corn, scrape the back with knife,wash pear with water, set aside.Preheat grill,when hot,put both corn and pear on it,flip sides frequently after some time,depending on the grill,remove the on heat when roasted evenly…enjoy

It is mainly eaten with roasted or cooked corn. It is pink in color when unripe but turns dark purple when ripped; It has a butter-like nature when roasted or dipped in hot water and is. Preparing the sweet corns and African pears before consumption takes minimal time but relaxing to enjoy them can take you as long as you wish.

The same is true for lunches once we usually add to a can of soup or roasted corn and african pear box of macaroni and cheese or some other such product rather than putting our creative efforts into making an instant and easy yet delicious lunch.
