Steps to make Dal Pakwan:
  1. Take a big bowl, add maida, oil, salt, ajwain and water, make a soft dough and keep aside for 20 minutes.
  2. Till then, Add dal, water, salt and turmeric in a cooker and cook dal till 3 whistles.
  3. When the dough is set, make a big puri and make a holes using knife. Fry it in oil till they become crispy.
  4. Take a pan, add oil, cumin and crackle them then add onion and tomato. Saute them and then add hing, turmeric powder, coriander powder, red chilli powder and saute them, add salt and dal. Mix it nicely.
  5. Plate Dal in a bowl and puris in a plate, Add some chopped tomatoes and onions and serve with imli chutney. Enjoy.
