The ingredients needed to make Dal pakwan:
  1. Take Pakwan
  2. Prepare 1 cup All purpose flour
  3. Prepare 1 pinch Cumin seeds

Step by step Dal Pakwan Recipe. How to make popular Sindhi breakfast- Dal Pakwan. Tempered Chana dal flavored with spices is served along with crispy wheat bread called Pakwan. Stir and add it to the dal.

Instructions to make Dal pakwan:
  1. Pakwan - Take a bowl add all purpose flour,cumin seeds,salt and 2 tbsp oil and mix well.
  2. Make a soft dough with adding water and keep aside for 30 mins.
  3. Now make pakwan like you make thin chapati
  4. Prick the chapati with fork
  5. Heat enough oil in a pan
  6. Deep fry in hot oil until golden and crispy in a medium flame.
  7. Daal - Soak chana daal and moong daal for half an hour.
  8. Add salt and turmeric powder and pressure cook for 5 mins
  9. Heat 2 tbsp oil in a pan
  10. Add cumin seeds to crackle.
  11. Add chopped tomato and saute for one to two mins.
  12. Add red chilli powder,black pepper powder,amchur powder and mix well.
  13. Add in the chana dal.
  14. Garnish with coriander leaves.
  15. Enjoy daal pakwan.
