The ingredients needed to make Payesh/Bengali Kheer ❤️:
  1. Take 20 grams rice (preferably Gobindo Bhog Chaal/Rice)
  2. Get 1/2 ltr milk
  3. Take 4-5 tbsp sugar
  4. Take 2-3 drops rose essence
  5. Get as needed Dry fruits of your choice
  6. Make ready 1 tsp ghee
  7. Take 1 Cardomom/Elaichi
  8. Prepare 1 bay leaf
  9. Make ready as needed Few kesar strands for garnishing

Instructions to make Payesh/Bengali Kheer ❤️:
  1. First soak the rice in water for half an hour. Now take a tadka pan, add a tsp of ghee and fry the dry fruits and keep it aside.
  2. Now boil the milk adding a bay leaf to it. This would enhance its flavour, then add the soaked rice to it. Now add the fried dry fruits & elaichi. Mix everything well. Boil it till the rice 70 percent done.
  3. Now add sugar & rose essence to it. Mix it well. Cook the rice till it's completely done. Now switch off the flame. And garnish it with some chopped dry fruits & kesar strands. Let it come to room temperature then keep it in a refrigerator for an hour or two & serve chilled. ❤️❤️
