  1. Take Potatoes
  2. Take Minced meat

  6. Prepare Green peas pre boiled

  8. Make ready Grated Mozarrella Cheese

In England (and Australia and New Zealand) they would call the beef dish a "cottage pie" and the lamb dish "shepherd's pie". Regardless of what you call it, a shepherd's pie is basically a casserole with a layer of cooked meat and vegetables, topped with mashed potatoes, and baked in the oven until the mashed potatoes are well browned. Traditionally, shepherd's pie is made with lamb (hence the name). However, as the dish gained wider popularity outside of its native English homeland (where using beef would make this a cottage pie), beef became a common substitute, especially in America where it's more widely available than ground lamb.

Instructions to make Shepherd's Pie:
  1. Fry the minced meat with onions
  2. Add the capsicum, the green peas and the sweet corn saute for five minutes
  3. Boil the potatoes in a different potatoes. Once boiled mash the potatoes with some margarine and some milk/ cream
  4. Put the sauted minced meat in a glass casserole and layer on top with theashed potatoes then top with the grated cheese
  5. Place them in a pre heated oven for 20mins at 140 degrees
  6. Serve hot

In a large skillet, cook beef with onion and red pepper until meat is no longer pink and vegetables are tender; drain.
