Steps to make Granola:
  1. I grated my coconut and lightly toasted in a dry hot frying pan. Chop up the cashew nuts and almond nuts.
  2. In a bowl pour all the ingredients except the raisins and mix thoroughly. (You can toast most nuts in the oven but dried fruit tend to burn so it's better you add the raisins after baking the granola)
  3. Spread on a baking tray and put in an oven for 20 minutes. After 10 or 15 minutes bring out the tray and turn the granola so that the bottom part will come to the top if not, the top layer will be dark and the bottom will not have an even color.
  4. When its ok, it will looked toasted or "baked" but not burnt obviously, bring it out of the oven and allow to cool. So using a low oven temperature helps to dry out the granola without over baking it.

Nutritious cooking is often difficult because many granola people do not desire to spend some time preparing and planning meals our families won’t eat. At the exact same timewe need our own families to be healthier so we are feeling compelled to understand improved and new methods of cooking healthy foods for our family to love (and regrettably in a few cases scorn).

With weight and nutrition being known as at fault in numerous health issues it’s not possible to ignore the importance of not only eating ourselves but also of teaching our kids the value of eating healthy. 1 way to guarantee that your nearest and dearest are in fact eating healthy is to be certain that you are cooking healthy and nutritious foods for them. This doesn’t imply that you cannot enjoy the intermittent calorie splurge and even you should not. The key to cooking healthy is always learning to regulate elements and understanding the value of moderation.

It’s those tiny actions that you take towards your objective of cooking healthy foods for your family which may matter a lot greater than any creature leap. Before you know it you may find that you all have greater energy and a better sense of general wellbeing than you would have envisioned before changing up your cooking customs. If this isn’t enough to encourage you however, you could always check out the excuse to shop for new clothes once you lose a size or 2.
