Navaratri Vrat Thali A Vrat Thali is basically the thali that includes of food items for the devotees who observe fast. As, during the fast, it is compulsory to eat only satvik food, there are limited options.

To begin with this recipe, we must first prepare a few components. You can cook vrat thali using 15 ingredients and 7 steps. Here is how you cook it.

The ingredients needed to make Vrat thali:
  1. Make ready 3 Boiled potatoes -
  2. Take 1cup Saggo soaked overnight -
  3. Make ready As needed Dryfruits (cashew, almond. Raisins, coconut)
  4. Take 1/4 spoon Green cardamom powder-
  5. Make ready 1 cup Milk
  6. Take 1 cup Fulmakhana
  7. Take 100 gm Peanuts
  8. Prepare as required Salt
  9. Get as per taste Sugar
  10. Prepare as required Ghee
  11. Get as needed Curd
  12. Make ready 4-5 Green chilli
  13. Make ready 1/2 tsp Black pepper powder
  14. Take 9-10 Coriander leaves
  15. Prepare 3-4 Mint leaves

Navratri vrat thali decoration can start with the bandhej colored thali. For Navratri vrat puja thali decoration, use a banana leaf as a base and then spread little flower. Steps to make Vrat thali:
  1. 1…Saggo kheer Take a pan. Add milk and boil. Add 3spoons of saggo in it and boil
  2. Add cardamom powder, grated coconut 1spoon, 3-4strings of kesar, dryfruits and sugar. Stir well and boil. Kheer is ready.
  3. 2…Crispy aloo saggo tikki… Take a plate. Mash 2 boiled potatoes, 4 spoons of saggo, 2 chopped green chilli, salt and chopped coriander leaves. Mix well with hands.
  4. Make small balls from this mixture and press. Shallow fry in a pan till golden brown. Turn the side and fry again. Crispy tikki is ready.
  5. 3….saggo khichdi Take a pan. Put some ghee. Add diced potatoes, diced cottage cheese and 1 spoon of peanuts. Saute it. Add of saggo, 1/2spoon salt, red chilli powder and chopped coriander leaves. Stir well. Saggo khichdi is ready.
  6. 4….Sweet salty mixture Take a pan. Add 1spoon ghee. Then add 1 cup phool makhana, peanuts.. Roast well. Then add chopped dry fruits and coconut.. Saute well. Add salt, powdered sugar and 1/4 spoon black pepper powder. Saute well. Mixture is ready.
  7. 5…..Curd Take 1 bowl of curd. Stir it and add 2 pinch of salt and black pepper powder. Add mint leaves.
