  6. An easier way is to use 1/3 of a sheet of nori, and roll it up from the short side. Cut in half.

The best part (for me as a cook) is that this is a meal where everyone helps themselves. To roll the sushi, cover a bamboo sushi rolling mat with plastic wrap. Lay a sheet of nori, rough side up, on the plastic wrap. With wet fingers, firmly pat a thick, even layer of prepared rice over the nori, covering it completely. Kimbap are Korean rice rolls that look a lot like sushi.
