The ingredients needed to make Peanut burfi:
  1. Get 1 cup Peanut-
  2. Get 1 cup Jaggery-
  3. Make ready 5 tsp Ghee-

This is my MIL's recipe & is very simple and quick to. How To Make Peanut Burfi: Soak peanuts in water for at least an hour. Grind coconut and peanuts into thick paste. Heat a pan and add sugar, milk and stir until thick.

Instructions to make Peanut burfi:
  1. Remove the skin of Peanuts & grind to a coarse mixture. - - Add jaggery to a heavy bottom pan. Pour some water. Begin to dissolve. When it dissolves completely, filter the impurities. - - Boil the jaggery syrup until it reaches a hard ball brittle consistency. - - Add the ground peanut mixture to the syrup. Mix well continuously for 2 minutes. Then add ghee and give a mix again.
  2. Quickly pour this to a ghee greased plate. With the help of a spatula, shape it evenly. Within a minute it will set. So cut it into pieces, when it is still slightly hot. - - Cool completely and break the peanut burfi to pieces. Store in a air tight jar.
