The ingredients needed to make Walnut Mawa Cake:
  1. Make ready 1/2 tin condensed milk
  2. Prepare 75 gm mawa(khoya)
  3. Prepare 4 tbsp butter
  4. Take 150 gm maida
  5. Get 1 tbsp baking powder
  6. Make ready 1 tbsp soda bi carbonate
  7. Make ready 3/4 cup milk
  8. Take 4 tbsp sugar powder to dissolve in milk
  9. Get Walnut pieces are required
Instructions to make Walnut Mawa Cake:
  1. Seive trice maida, baking powder and soda- bi- carb mixture. Divide into 4 parts.. keep aside. Dissolve powder sugar in milk.. keep aside.
  2. As you start preparing for cake batter..on the oven for preheat..on High temperature of 250C for 10 mins.
  3. In mixing bowl add butter,beat till fluffy,add condensed milk and beat till fluffy.
  4. Add one part of maida mixture,mix well.
  5. Add little milk- sugar mixture, and mix well.
  6. Similarly repeat this process of adding maida & milk mixture,till all use up..beat till smooth mixture is formed.
  7. Add crumbles mawa(khoya).& mix gently in batter.
  8. Pour the prepared batter in 6" grease square tin.
  9. Sprinkle walnuts pieces on top.
  10. Cover the cake tin with aluminium foil. Place in preheated oven. Bake on High250C for 10 mins,lower the temperature at180C, bake for 40 mins..or till done.
  11. Cool for 1/2 hour,then remove in flat plate. Cut into cubes.
