Add the ginger, garlic and scallions; cook until fragrant. Place the spring roll seam side down on the plastic sheet. Cover it with another plastic sheet and keep it in the freezer until the spring rolls are frozen. Remove the frozen spring rolls and store it in a freezer safe container.

Instructions to make Pastry spring rolls:
  1. In a bowl add your flour mix with salt,add enuf water to form a soft dough,nd cover for 30mins to allow it rest(the longer it stays the more soft the dough become nd more crispness to the rolls)
  2. Divide dough into 13 small small ball as shown here, using a rolling pin roll the each ball flat not too flat,as shown here(i use 3 balls each)
  3. After rolling,add little oil to each disc nd spread then sprinkle flour
  4. Now take on and put it on top of the other,as shown here,nd spread oil again on top of the fliped one nd cover it again with the remaining one disc(watau ina nufin bayan kin shafa mai da flour din saiki dauko daya ki rufa akan daya,wajen mai da flour dib yazama suna ahade kenan,watau ki rufa akai,saiki shafawa wanan wanda kika rufa din tunda kinga kin juya,bayan babu ai,shima ki shafa mai da flour saiki dauko dayan ki daura akai)
  5. And here are my small round disc,press lightly with ur hand nd roll them gently till it triple in size of the nrml disc
  6. Like this,on a low heat put ur nonstcik pan or skillet
  7. Place ur flat rolled disc on it,nd use ur hands to b pressing it gently,for 15 sec,the flip the other side also,after 10sec take it off nd allow to cool,repeat thesame till all ur pastry is finished
  8. Here they are,carefully seprate them,nd use a round big bowl to cut a round shape,or leave it lik that
  9. Our spring rolls/watton sheets/samaosa sheet is done
  10. Here is my chopped veggies,in a pan i add oil and saute the onion,then add my grounded meat which i add scotch bonnet to it nd ground well,i use mortar(watau naman nawa dakashi nayi a turmi)stir fry for few mins
  11. Then i add my seasonings to taste,and then add my chopped veggies nd i add the spices nd sprinkle little salt again,nd continue stir frying
  12. Till my cabbage start to become soft i turned off heat nd allow it to cool down
  13. Now this is how i rolled it
  14. I use flour glue(flour +water) to gum the edges,u can use water if u like
  15. After i finished i have my 13 spring rolls,i fry them on a low medium heat by frequent turning till they are nicely golden brown nd crisp,serve and enjoy
  16. Note the pepper i use,i use according to my taste u can reduce or add.
