Rasmalai recipe can be made from milk powder and bread as well but they are not as tasty and soft as the rasmalai we make by using traditional method. Steps to make Rasmalai:
  1. Start to boil milk for making cheese balls. When milk is about to over flow, that time switch off flame and add vinegar water to it slowly slowly and stir it softly. The cheese then strained by a muslin cloth and keep it for 10 mins into the cloth.
  2. Take cheese on a plate, add corn flour then make a smooth dough from it. From that dough make small balls.
  3. Sugar and water start to boil, then add cheese balls into it. 10 mins with lid cook it in high heat then cook another 5 mins without lid in medium heat.
  4. Take out rosogolla from sugar syrup and drop into a bowl of water. Then squeezed it using palm carefully.
  5. Heat milk in another deep bottom vessel and make it half. Add sugar, cardamom powder and saffron milk into it.
  6. Add the squeezed cheese balls into that milk, that time milk should be atleast warm.
  7. Keep it into refrigerator for atleast 3-4 hrs. Then rasmalai is ready to served.
