The ingredients needed to make Kesar Sheera:
  1. Make ready 1/2 cup Suji/Rava/Semolina
  2. Take 1.5 cup Water
  3. Take 1/4-1/2 cup Sugar
  4. Get 1/4 cup Ghee
  5. Take 10 Saffron Strands
  6. Prepare 3 tbsp Milk
  7. Prepare Almonds for Garnish

  4. Now add the saffron milk and cook again for few minutes. Keep stirring.
  5. Add sugar and mix well. The sugar will dissolve and it will again become watery, so keep stirring and cooking until you reach the desired consistency.
  6. When the water evaporates and it starts to reache into a halwa or sheera consistency, add the remaining ghee and stir.
  7. Switch off when it starts leaving the pan and garnish with chopped almonds.
  8. Serve hot or cold according to your preference πŸ˜‹
  9. Note : You can add cardamom powder or a pinch of camphor. I skip adding while making Kesar Sheera.
