  2. Make ready Tattasai(capsicum)
  3. Prepare Atta(chills pepper)
  4. Prepare Onions
  5. Take Garlic/ ginger
  6. Get Alehu(spinach)
  7. Make ready Lil egusi
  8. Take Palm or vege oil
  9. Get Meat
  10. Make ready Dry fish(optional)
  11. Prepare Maggi salt
  12. Take Onga classic

Use a hand blender to blitz to a smooth soup. Unique soup I love the ginger. I tripled the spinach and could even add more as it really cooks down. I went ahead and pureed it all but found a few potato chunks which were nice so next time I'll leave some.

Instructions to make Miyan Alehu(spinach soup):
  1. Boil your meat with little maggi, salt and thyme till its done.clean your dry fish, and cut your spinach and put aside. cut, pound or blend you tomatoes, atta, peppers, and onion.
  2. In a pot pour in your oil, when its hot pour in the blended ingredients and fry till its done. Add in the boiled meat and dry fish, add in more water if required. Add maggi, salt, garlic, ginger and let it simmer.
  3. Pound a little onion and mix it with the egusi to make it wet, make a round shape and add into the boiling soup. Let it simmer or till the water reduce to your preference.
  4. Lastly add in the spinach and let it simmer for some minutes and your soup is done. enjoy😘
