Instructions to make Daal Pakwan:
  1. Firstly make dough for pakwan
  2. 1 cup Maida and 1 cup wheat flour, add salt and prepare the dough. And keep aside for 1 hour.
  3. Now prepare the dal. Soak 2 cups chana dal for 15 minutes.
  4. Drain the water from dal and put it into pressure cooker and keep it on a medium flame for 10 to 12 minutes.
  5. When it cools down, open the lid and mash chana dala slightly.
  6. Now heat the pan and add 11/2 of oil, add green chillies, ginger paste. Saute for 1 min.
  7. Add salt, turmeric, red chilli powder and lemon juice and now mix well.
  8. Add boiled chana in that pan.
  9. Now mix well and add lil water if it's very thick. Lastly add coriander leaves for garnish.
  10. Now comes to the pakwan
  11. Make small balls from the dough and roll it and scratch slightly with knife.
  12. Now deep fry this pakwan and keep frying till it turns to lil golden brown.
  13. Flame should be medium.
  14. Tadda pakwan is ready.
  15. Let's make green chutney with Coriander and pudina
  16. Take a mixer jaar. Add coriander and mint leaves, ginger, chillies and peanuts. Add salt and pinch of turmeric. Last add lemon juice. Now grind it in well.
  17. Chutney is ready.
  18. Now serve pakwan with chana dal, green chutney and chopped tomato and cucumber.
