The ingredients needed to make Moong dal chila:
  1. Get For batter : 1 cup moong daal /yellow gram
  2. Make ready to taste Salt

  6. Get For filling: 100 gm paneer grated
  7. Prepare 1/4 cup peas boiled
  8. Prepare Green coriander

  11. Take 1/4 tsp Chat masala

  1. Soak moong dal gram for 2 hours. Grind soaked mong dal with ginger, chilies, salt,hing in a mixer to a smooth batter adding enough water.The batter should have a consistency like a dosa batter.
  2. For filling, boil peas and add in geated paneer. Add salt chilly pd and chat masala. Mix it well
  3. The process of making mong dal chilla is same as dosa. Heat a tawa. Pour some water clean it with cloth and then apply 1drop oil and similar clean it with cloth lightly. Then pour batter on tawa. And spread it.
  4. Now spread 1tblsp of filling on it.. Cook for 1-2 minutes and fold it.
  5. Cut from middle and serve with tamarind chutney.
