The ingredients needed to make Masala Paneer Makhana:
  1. Get 500 ml FOR MASALA PANEER -Milk/ doodh -
  2. Make ready Chopped mint/ pudina leaves - 1/2 teaspoon
  3. Get Chopped coriander/ dhaniya leaves - 1 teaspoon
  4. Take 1 Chopped green chilli/ hari mirch -
  5. Prepare to taste Salt/ namak
  6. Get 2 tablespoons FOR GRAVYCoconut powder/ nariyal boora -
  7. Prepare 1/2 cup Mawa/ khoya -
  8. Take 2 tablespoons Oil/ tel -
  9. Make ready 1/2 teaspoon Cumin seeds/ jeera -
  10. Get 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric/ haldi powder -
  11. Prepare 1 pinch Asafoetida/ hing -
  12. Make ready 1/2 teaspoon Red chilli/ lal mirch powder -
  13. Take 1 teaspoon Dry coriander/ dhaniya powder -
  14. Take Garlic, ginger and green chilli/ adarak, lehsun, hari mirch paste
  15. Take 1/2 teaspoon Garam masala -
  16. Take to taste Salt/ namak
  17. Prepare 1/2 teaspoon Whole garam masala -
  18. Get Chopped coriander/dhaniya leaves -1 tablespoon
  19. Get Makhane - 1 and 1/2 cup
  20. Get 1/2 cup Curd/ dahi -
  21. Make ready 1 cup Water -

Keep this mixture aside for half an hour. After half an hour put the pan on the flame and add milk. Simmer it till the makahana are completely done and soft. Then add cashewnuts and garam masala.

Instructions to make Masala Paneer Makhana:
  1. Boil the milk and then switch off the flame. Add 1/4 cup water, slowly add lemon juice and keep stirring milk gently.
  2. When milk curdles, drain the excess water by collecting it in a cheese cloth and wash it 2-3 times.
  3. Add coriander, mint leaves, salt and chilies and mix well.
  4. Put paneer under heavy stone for 1 hour and cut into cubes.
  5. Soak 1 cup makhane, coconut powder, turmeric, red chilli, dry coriander powder and whole garam masala for 15 minutes and then grind it with mawa and curd.
  6. Heat oil in a pan and add jeera and hing. When jeera crackles add garlic, ginger and green chilli paste. Saute for 2-3 minutes.
  7. Add ground mixture and saute for 6-8 minutes or until masala separates oil. Add water to the curry. Stir well
  8. Add remaining makhane and cook for 3-4 minutes. Add salt and masala paneer cubes and cook for 2-3 minutes.
  9. Add garam masala powder and coriander leaves. Turn off the gas now.
  10. Creamy and rich in taste 'Masala Paneer Makhana' is ready to be served!!!

Simmer it till the makahana are completely done and soft. Then add cashewnuts and garam masala. To this mixture add makhana, cottage cheese, cream , salt, red chili pepper, turmeric, dried pudina leaves. Keep this mixture aside for half an hour. After half an hour put the pan on the flame and add milk.
