  6. Take 2 tablespoons baking powder,
  7. Make ready 1 large onion (grated),
  8. Make ready 1/2 teaspoon white potash,
  9. Prepare 2 cups oil for frying

Instructions to make Masa (wainar shinkafa):
  1. First wash and soak the rice for two hours, wash and put in a bowl blend or take to grinding machine till smooth, and make sure the batter is thick.
  2. After bending/grinding put the mashed rice, flour and mix well, close, put in a warm place and allow to rise overnight.
  3. After it rise, add sugar, salt, baking powder, grated onions, white potash and water as required and mix well.
  4. Heat your masa pan over medium heat add little oil, scoop the batter and pour in your pan fry by turning both sides till golden brown, serve with spinach and yakuwa soup, this recipe is super soft, fluffy,and yummy.
